Add a Spring to Your Step with the Nexus Chloë Vibe: A Review for the Ladies

The Nexus Chloë vibe is not my first toy-crush, and I’m sure it won’t be my last, but I’m enjoying the flirting and courtship stages immensely. This vibrator is luxury, luxury, luxury and its power is beyond belief. Tears are actually rolling down my cheeks as I’m writing this because the aftershocks are that strong and that delicious.

I’m pretty darn sure it’s the most exquisite vibrator I’ve ever felt in my life (and I’ve had the privilege of playing with a lot of different toys). And yes, in case you were wondering, I do like blogging about these things while the experiences are fresh and the orgasmic impulses are still zapping through my body.

I’m obsessed with this vibrator’s arc, which makes the Nexus Chloë by Nexus Range perfect ergonomically-speaking, and the patterns and speeds (five, in total) are completely blowing me away! I’m not quite sure what I expected… but yumm. Even on the lowest setting, I found myself cruising into amazing orgasms. For a Hitachi-girl, the first handful of orgasms on the lowest speed were enough to render me almost-speechless. I admit that it’s pretty hard to shut me up altogether. Hee.

The weight is distributed such that it rests comfortably in the hand, angled slightly downward to tend to your clit, labia and deep inside your pussy with an effortless ease and zero worries of wrist-strain or fatigue. It balances your needs with beauty of design, high-quality construction, and is sure to be a conversation-starter if you have the privilege of keeping your toys on display.

The Chloë is body-safe, environmentally-friendly, rechargeable (make sure you have an outlet adapter if using it in the USA) and reliable. With dual motors, located in the tip and base of the vibrator, you can pinpoint sensations and customize your pleasure experience. I even like the beautiful blue flashing light that lets you know the Nexus Chloë is charging, and the way that it beams a white halo around the control panel when in use. It will also flash blue, instead of white, to cue you to recharge your toy when the juice is running low. Genius.

If it’s not already obvious, don’t use this vibrator while it is plugged-in and charging. Always unplug it before use, and seal the charging jack with the flap to make sure that no lube or juices get inside. A two-hour charge yields about 2.5 hours of play-time, so keep that in mind. I got in the habit of charging the Nexus Chloë along with my cellphone on the nights I intended to use it. Even though the Chloë boasts remarkable standby time of 90 days, I didn’t want to risk running out of juice in the midst of delights of the flesh. To keep your vibe happy, don’t charge longer than 24 hours at one-go, and only use the original charger provided.

Looking at the pictures of the Chloë, and even holding her in-hand, I made the mistake of initially confusing her sleek appearance for lack of strength. After cleaning my new toy with a cloth dampened with warm water and mild soap, being careful to avoid the battery compartment (warning: not waterproof!), and rinsing with clean water, I dried it off, lubed it up with water-based lubricant and slid all 5.5 insertable inches of the vibrator inside of me. Okay, maybe a teensy bit more of the 8-inch shaft, too. Remember to use only water-based lube on the Nexus Chloë, which is made of velvety phthalate-free medical-grade silicone (shaft) along with medical-grade ABS plastic (handle). Silicone lube is not compatible with silicone toys.

I gasped at first entry, as the 4.84-inch circumference of the Nexus Chloë found my G-spot straightaway, and didn’t waste any time stimulating me into sheer bliss as soon as I turned on its motors. I’ll admit that it’s taken me some time to get used to the control panel, and the first few times I played, I just hit random buttons as I meandered my way through the exploration process. (Go ahead, laugh!) After reading the included instruction leaflet, much was cleared-up for me, however, and I even learned that the Chloë has a built-in “lock” feature for traveling and/or to prevent accidental turn-on.

The only things I’d even consider improving? Making the silicone flap that covers the charging jack a little more secure. It always seems to wriggle off in my bed. And, if I could, I might add another inch or two of insertable length to this beauty, just because I like it deep. But that’s me. Your mileage may vary, of course.
